Veristat Raises >$350K For Rare Cancer Research

Team Veristat Participate in Cycle for Survival 2021 - Virtually

For the past seven years, Veristat has participated in Memorial Sloan Kettering's Cycle for Survival, the movement to beat rare cancers. Founded in partnership with Equinox fitness club back in 2006, this ground-breaking research fundraiser celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2021 and has raised nearly three hundred million dollars for rare cancer research to date.

Team Veristat raised over $350,000 in 2021, performing as the #2 fundraising team in the nation, bringing Team Veristat's lifetime contributions to nearly $600,000 so far.

CFS_Logo_ColorWe are so passionate about Cycle for Survival because 100% of the funds raised go directly to rare cancer research within six months. And that research doesn't only benefit MSK patients; it advances and lifts up the technology, and most importantly, the hope, for rare cancer patients everywhere. What researchers could have only achieved in decades may now be done in years, or less, because of the impact of Cycle for Survival. And for those of us who have had rare cancers hit home, we understand that makes all the difference.

While Team Veristat participated virtually in 2021 due to Covid-19, there was no shortage of passion, tears, strength, and pride for Cycle for Survival. This was also the first year that we were able to invite international participants, having our first ever team members in Spain!

We will always #JOINTHEBATTLE near and far.

As the 2021 Cycle for Survival fundraising season comes to a close, we are excited to see what the funds raised can do, and the impact it will bring for the patients who need it the most.
